The aliens are here... 6 months ago Graham Hess' (Mel Gibson) wife died. This fatal accident made Graham give up all hope in miracles, fate and faith and so left his job as the local vicar. After Graham's wife death, Merrill (Joaquin Phoenix) a former minor league baseball star, Graham's brother moves in with him and his two children to help out on their maize fields in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. One night mysterious five-hundred-foot design of circles and lines appear in the field. This triggers of a set of events which test Graham's faith to the limits.
If you like scary films this is good one to watch but is filled with more jumpy scenes than really scary ones, but if you hate movies like this don't watch it. Signs will not leave your mind quickly.

Men In Black 2 - cert. PG Year. 2002 - 6 / 10
Will Smith plays agent J who was trained in the last MIB movie as a replacement for agent K. Since K's departure in the last movie J has not been able to keep any of his partners for very long, preferring to work alone. When an evil alien disguised as a Victoria's secret underwear model (!) comes to earth to find 'the light' the members of MIB have to find the light and send it as far away as possible before the alien finds it and takes over the world. The only way they can find the light, however, is to ask agent K. Unfortunately, at the end of Men In Black 1 J erased K's memory so he could retire and lead a normal life. J has to track K down (he's working in a post office) and convince him to come with him to have his memory restored so they can find the light. The best bits are definitely the scene in the post office, the parts with Michael Jackson in them and when K is put on the machine that will restore his memory.

Scooby Doo - cert. PG year.2002 - 8 / 10
Mystery Inc. have broken up and all gone their spate ways. When they are all invited to Spooky Island, a new theme park, to solve a problem the owner has, they all say yes-for different reasons. Shaggy and Scooby are going for the food, Daphne wants to show there's more to her than just looks. The problem is all the people who arrive at Spooky Island are normal, just having a good time, but when they leave they act like boring dummies. Mystery Inc. have a work together, or they will be the next victims!
It's just like the cartoon series, but I couldn't guess who was behind it all. Daphne's and Fred's feelings for each other is not how I remembered it, but Daphne proved she was more than just a damsel in distress!

Spider-Man - cert.12A year. 2002 - 10 / 10
Spider-Man is about a guy called Peter Parker. Peter is a nerd. He loves science and taking photos but isn't popular. This is a slight problem as he loves Mary-Jane, who lives next door, the most popular girl in school. After a genetically modified spider bites Peter changes into a human spider! When Peter wakes up in morning he has some fun looking at all the muscle he now has. But with great power comes great responsibility. When Uncle Ben gets shot, Peter decides that with his new found strength he should protect people like Uncle Ben. The thing is Peter has managed to gain a few enemies. Will he be able to stop them and have time to do is homework, not forgetting winning Mary-Jane's heart?
This is the BEST film I've seen this year. I want to watch it again and again! I can't wait for Spider-Man 2!

Hocus Pocus - year.1993 - 6 /10
It's about a new guy who has just moved to Salem. Problem is he light's a candle which brings back the 3 most terrible witch sisters who have only Halloween to kill all the kids in town before they are made immortal! Will he be able to stop the witches? Lets hope his only friend, his sister and a 300-year-old talking cat can help him!
The film is THE originally witch film. It being based on Halloween and it being in Salem (the witch town) is a classic recipe for witch mayhem! The film is dated though (the sister says the year is 1993) but this does not spoil the film. It is a must see for all witch lovers.

Harry Potter and the Stone - cert. PG year.2001 - 8 / 10
If you don't know, it is about a boy called Harry Potter. He thinks he is normal when he is actually famous(but only in the wizardry world). On his11th birthday he finds out that he is a wizard! He goes to Hogwarts School Of Wizardry And Witchcraft, gets into trouble, makes friends, fights evil and so on.

This film is based on the first Harry Potter book. The plot is kept the same even thought it has been changed in places. You need to the basic plot but if you know the book off by heart this is something you might not want to see as a lot of story has been taken out due to the length. The special effects are excellent and so are the actors. This is a film to see.
