Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Into every generation a girl is chosen one is born. She alone will stand against the vampires, demons and forces of darkness.

She is the Slayer.

Buffy the vampire slayer is about a girl called Buffy Anne Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar) who is the vampire slayer! She lives in Sunnydale, California, U.S.A. with her best friends Willow Rosenberg (Alyson Hannigan) and Alexander Harris (Nicholas Brendon) plus her former watcher Rupert Giles (Anthony Stewart Head). They help her kill vampires and stop anything else evil thrown in their direction.

Buffy moved to Sunnydale with her mom, Joyce (Kristine Sutherland), after she getting expelled from her school in LA. A year before Buffy moved, she found out that she was the vampire slayer. Buffy hoped that moving might mean she could forget her duty as a slayer because it had ruined her popularity at school. Within a week of stating at a new school Buffy made friends with Willow and Xander, two geeks, instead of becoming friends with Miss Popular, Cordelia Chase (Charisma Carpenter). Her new watcher Giles, the librarian at Sunnydale High, trained Buffy and helped her slay. Buffy gradually fell in love with a vampire with a soul called Angel (David Boreanaz), who helped Buffy out as he had links with the demon world. Before the Spring Fling, Buffy killed the Master (Mark Metcalf), a powerful vampire who was prophesied to rise with the help from the Anointed One (Andrew J. Ferchland) and Darla (Julie Benz), (after he killed her first).

As Buffy had died, a new slayer was called, Kendra (Bianca Lawson), but was killed by Drusilla (an insane vampire) who moved to Sunnydale with her boyfriend Spike (James Marsters). On her 17th birthday, Angel's and Buffy's relationship went horribly wrong. Angel lost his soul, turning evil. Angel teamed up with two old friends of his- Spike and Drusilla (Juliet Laudau), and returned to his evil ways. Angel broke Giles heart by killing Jenny Calendar (Robia LaMorte), the only woman Giles had ever loved. After this Angel decided to send the world to hell. Spike teamed up with Buffy to stop this and so he could win Dru back. In the end, Buffy sent Angel to hell, breaking her heart.

Buffy ran away from home but soon returned. Somehow Angel returned from hell. Buffy nursed he better after his experience. Faith (Eliza Dushku), the vampire slayer called when Kendra died, arrived in town as her watcher had been killed. Wesley (Alexis Denisof) Faith's new watcher also became Buffy's new watcher as well, as Giles had become to much of a father-figure towards Buffy. Faith started working for the Mayor of Sunnydale, who used Faith's rebellious streak against Buffy. Angel decided that he should leave Buffy but would stay to help her fight Faith and the Mayor before he left. The Mayor tried to kill Buffy at her gradution (though he did eat Principal Snyder (Armin Shimerman) when he turned into a snake demon) but she blew him up along with Sunnydale High.

Buffy and Willow went to college while Xander got a job. While at college Oz (Seth Green) left Willow, leaving her devastated, as he couldn't control the werewolf inside of him. Willow decided to practise her wicca to keep her mind off missing Oz. At a wicca group, she met Tara Macley (Amber Benson) another witch. Buffy met Riley Finn (Marc Blucas) at college and he soon became her new boyfriend. What Buffy wasn't perpared for was that Riley worked for a government group which kills demons, along with his friends Forrest (Leonard Roberts) and Graham (Bailey Chase). Though little does Riley realise that the government are actually creating a super demon called Adam (George Hertzberg) and the only person who can stop it is his girlfriend.

Spike comes back for revenge on Buffy. He ends up dating Harmony (Mercedes McNab) and getting a chip put in his head. Xander starts dating Anya (Emma Caulfield) an ex. vengence demon.

After a year at college Buffy gained a sister Dawn (Michelle Trachtenberg), The Key, along with false memories. A group of monks had turned the Key into human form and sent it to Buffy to protect from Glory (Clare Kramer), a god. 

Glory wants to kill Dawn so she can get back home. Buffy finally battles Glory, along with the help of her friends, but Glory gets to Dawn first. Buffy rushes to the tower on which Dawn is tied, in hope that she can save her sister. But the ritual as started. With the world collapsing around, Buffy realises that her destiny is to die. Her blood is the same as Dawn's, there her blood can also stop the ritual and save the world. So Buffy jumps off the tower.
